Ever wondered how good it would be to read email on your laptop even when it’s shut flat?

Microsoft has, and they’ve come up with SideShow (pictured).

Time.com reports: “Laptop makers are planning to design small screens on the outer body so you can read incoming messages or choose music without opening the case. SideShow will be supported by the Windows Vista operating system, launching this year.”

Now there’s a neat solution.
